    Roxaboxen Park

    Children can use imagination to create worlds of thier own at Roxaboxen Park. Based around the 1915 children's book, Roxaboxen, the area is quite simplistic. Benches reflect the tale about a family who create a make-beleive town from a rocks, boxes and sand. The park is open year-round from sunrise to sunset.

    Yuma Crossing State Historic Park

    Yuma Crossing State Historic Park, site of the Yuma Quartermaster Depot, was used by the US Army to store and distribute supplies for all the military posts in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and Texas. Along with the Visitor Center, museum and giftshop, there is a 1907 Southern Pacific Steam Locomotive and Coach Car.
